A WP Exclusive Interview: Kerry firmly stands his ground on something

As a response to his critics that allege John Kerry has constantly swapped sides on many issues during his entire political career, he has agreed to do an interview with the Wired Press to clear up these allegations once and for all.

TWP: So what do you say to people who accuse you of being inconsistent on your support of the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan?

Kerry: I have said all along that I most definitely might not be for the War on Terror.

TWP: So you supported the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan?

Kerry: Well, what did I just say?

TWP: I'm not sure, that's why I asked.

Kerry: Well, I'm not going to repeat myself.

TWP: Okay. Moving on, how about your stand on NAFTA? Are you for or against NAFTA.

Kerry: If you look at my voting record you will see a consistent pattern of voting against voting for not accepting the North American Free Trade Agreement and most recently to absolutely explore the possibility of not withdrawing from it entirely or not at all.

TWP: Huh? So your against it?

Kerry: That's not what I said.

TWP: So you're for it.

Kerry: See, now you are trying to put words in my mouth, when my record is consistent.

TWP: So are you going to take a stand on any issues or are you going to just make abstract statements that sound like opinions?

Kerry: Yes.

TWP: Which is it?

Kerry: I think if you look at my record you will see that at least half the time I have been staunch supporter of the movement against Indecisiveness.

TWP: Right. Will you just pretty much say anything to get elected and not alienate any voters because you never take a consistent stand and never admit that you might have changed your mind over the years about certain issues?

Kerry: Possibly.
